Delicious Singapore

Sorry boys and girls that I've not been updating the blog..it has been a crazy month at work (still crazy now but I have to relax abit and blog).

Hope this post can let you start your work week with a little something to look forward to if you decide to have a dinner at Delicious Singapore.

Conveniently located at Orchard Scotts Square basement, I went there for a quick dinner at around 6.30pm and was surprised that only 2 tables were occupied. Could be I was too early...

 Interesting wall deco with a few bird cages hanging on the ceiling..

They have a variety of food here, from wine to burger and dessert..seems potentially good...the place was slight cozy, relax and will be a good place for gathering.

As we were in a hurry, we ordered the food and they arrived fast, about 5 - 10 minutes..enough time for me to take photos and drink some wine..

 Vita Indomita Varietal ($12) - Sauvignon Blanc, Chile. A good companion for my burger...hohoho..

Smoked Salmon Angelhair ($16.50) tossed in cream, served with Caviar and Parsley. This angelhair was so smooth and the texture was bouncy. The cream wasn't thick but it still sticked to the angelhair and just flow in my mouth. The smoked salmon was not salty at all too, it was tender and full of flavor. I don't mind having this again..

Grilled Cajun Chicken Burger ($16.90) with Turkey Bacon and Ranch dressing.I am not a burger person but this burger changed my mind and opened my heart. It was not greasy at all. The turkey bacon was chewy yet crispy. I always avoid crispy hard bacon as it will cause me sore throat but this was perfect. The grilled cajun chicken was smokey, tender and juicy. The burger bun was already good on its own. Super enjoyed my burger. I ate a few pieces of the fries as I find it quite greasy (The waiter was kind enough not to show me expressions when I said I want to pack my fries). The salad was great with balsamic vinegar...
